Attended Business Growth Event

I signed up for the free 52 Ways Business Growth Event back in February. The registration process online was straightforward, just entered my details and got a confirmation email right away. The event itself was a Live Business Seminar, which I attended in person. Content-wise, it was decent for a free session, covering some good ground on automation and scaling. I found the '160 Things to Outsource List' they mentioned pretty useful, gave me some ideas. The presentation was engaging, but it did lean heavily into promoting their paid Business Blueprint Program, which I expected. Overall, a good introduction to their approach.

Good training, some upsell pressure

I registered for the 90-minute Business Training recently. The signup on their site was easy enough, no issues there. The training itself had some solid points on productivity systems, especially for a free session. I picked up a few actionable tips, which was the main goal. My one minor critique is the amount of time spent on pitching the Business Blueprint Program. While I understand it's part of their model, it felt a little extended. Customer service was fine when I had a question about the schedule; they responded quickly. Value for a free event was high, just wish the core content was a bit longer.

Quick seminar, useful insights

I attended a complimentary seminar pass for a Live Business Seminar. Registration was simple. The content on Marketing Strategy Sessions was helpful. Got a few ideas for my small business. It was a good quick overview.

Are their events only live, or can you watch them online if you can't make it to a physical location?

O Omar 2 months ago
Most of their main workshops are live and in-person, but they do have some online courses and trainings available if you look around their site.

The free workshops are definitely in-person usually. I think their bigger programs might have online components, but for the intros, you gotta show up.

Do they offer any kind of scholarship or free passes for people who might not be able to afford the higher-tier programs?

R Ryan B. 1 month ago
I've heard of them offering 'event scholarships' sometimes, especially for early stage entrepreneurs or specific groups. Might be worth reaching out to them directly to ask.

Not sure about full scholarships for the big programs, but they definitely do the free workshops as a way to get people in the door, which is a good start.

What's actually covered in the 90-minute training session? Is it just a sales pitch or actual content?

J Jared Okafor 2 months ago
It's a mix. They do give you some decent strategies and frameworks you can use right away, but it definitely leads into promoting their larger programs. Still, I got some value out of it.

You'll get actionable tips, not just fluff. They want to show you they know their stuff before they ask you to commit to anything bigger.

Thinking of signing up for a workshop, but I'm just starting out. Is it going to be too advanced for a brand new startup?

D David H. 3 months ago
Nah, I think it's pretty good for beginners. They cover a lot of foundational stuff, so you won't be lost. Plus, it gives you a good idea of what to focus on.

From my experience, they tailor it so even if you're small, you can still get value. They touch on basics before diving deeper, so you should be fine.

How do I use one of those free ticket codes? Is there a specific box on the registration page or something?

B Brett 3 months ago
When you go to register, there's usually a field for a 'promo code' or 'voucher code' right before you hit confirm. Just paste it in there.

Yeah, it's usually clear, just look for a little box on the signup form, can't miss it.
